Why do films take so much time?
We understand the excitement and anticipation our clients have to relive their wedding through the film. But a wedding film is for a lifetime. And we take handcrafting it very seriously. We neither have a linear style of editing not follow any templates. Each wedding film is unique to the couple and their story. And doing justice to it's documentation takes time. Our creative process involves two rounds of editing, another round of colour grading, and a scrutiny by all 3 editors before it is ready. And this takes time. We ask for patience and insist that our clients give us time to make a beautiful film that both them and us can fall in love with for posterity
What is your approach towards making a film?
Before anything else our first priority is to do justice to the wedding. We are fortunate that we get to shoot weddings happening in a small room to weddings spread across country and to do justice to such wide variety of weddings it is very important for us not to stick with a particular style or pre determined approach.
What is the difference between RAW and JPG?
The Raw and JPG are two types of photo files format, the Raw file is uncompressed and unprocessed files, so it contains all the information of the shot taken, it is normally big in size. On the other hand, JPG is a compressed file; there is some information lost during saving to the memory of the camera. It is rather an option to take if you are going to shot many photos in one session and there might be a situation in memory, save the file as JPG. But if you are considering processing your photos on a PC later, it is better to save as RAW file format.
Are all of the images edited?
Yes. All of your images are edited and touched up.
Do you provide RAW files from the shoot?
We do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files from our shoots because we believe in delivering a finished product. In fact, we’re often shooting with the end (post-produced) product in mind. Delivering a final product is part of the art in our photography business.
How do I reserve you for my date?
All dates are reserved once we receive your signed contract and retainer fee. Please get in touch with us to reserve the dates.
What is so special about photographing weddings?
Weddings are a huge cornerstone in a couple's life. It's a life changing event in history that will forever impact the generations to follow. Photographing a wedding is special because we are able to capture the story of the couple and give them something to look back upon, as well as an heirloom to pass along to their loved ones.
What is the purpose of two photographers?
Having two photographers at a wedding allows us to be two places at once. While one photographer is getting pictures of the bride getting ready with her bridesmaids, the second photographer can get pictures of the guys getting ready with his groomsmen. Having a second photographer allows for a second perspective of your wedding day. It allows us to truly capture your day as it unfolds from different view points and give you the best combination of both.
